Called to the Singapore Bar in 2009, Sivarajan holds an Honours (Second Class Upper) degree in Law from the University of Nottingham and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Sivarajan’s areas of practice are primarily in Corporate Law, Fund Management, Financial Services Regulation, Insurance, Construction and Engineering and Digital Assets. 

Prior to joining Global Law Alliance, Sivarajan’s practice was in the field of Litigation and Arbitration, spanning areas such as Insurance and Re-Insurance, Commercial Disputes and Construction and Engineering. He was also Inhouse Counsel at the Land Transport Authority where he advised on rail construction and infrastructure projects, as well as on insurance-related claims, arbitral proceedings and cross- border insolvency proceedings.

At Global Law Alliance, Sivarajan has advised asset managers on both retail and non-retail foreign funds, specifically collective investment schemes as well as ongoing regulatory obligations for such schemes.  He has advised clients on both vanilla funds as well as specialised schemes such as Index funds, Hedge Funds and Money Market Funds.

In the Financial Services Regulation space, Sivarajan has advised Financial Institutions and high net worth individuals on the establishment of single and multi-family offices, applications for licensing and any available exemptions under applicable laws.

He has also advised various entities in the digital assets space such as exchanges, token issuers and owners (for both cryptocurrencies and NFTs) on the applicable licensing and regulatory obligations under Singapore law.
