This includes pre-employment and ongoing employment matters such as advising on obligations under the Employment Act (Cap. 91 of Singapore), employee benefits, compensation and share option schemes, to the end of employment including dismissals, terminations and retrenchment exercises.

We also advise on immigration matters such as cross-border staffing issues including relocations and secondments as well as work pass, permanent residency and citizenship applications. Our firm routinely advises clients with regard to ongoing changes to the employment regulatory landscape in Singapore.

We also review and draft human resource/employment documentation such as employment contracts, employee handbooks and policies and are also able to advise clients regarding the use of restrictive covenants and confidentiality provisions. As part of our multi-disciplinary practice, we also advise on employment issues arising out of commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate reorganisations.
