Jonathan Solomon is a Partner in the Banking and Financial Markets Group and is currently based in Singapore. He has extensive experience advising lenders and borrowers on all forms of emerging market transactions and in particular on commodity financings. He has advised on transactions dealing with all soft and hard commodities including pre-export, pre-payment, limited recourse and countertrade financings as well as financing involving the use of SPVs. His work covers South East Asia, the CIS (in particular Ukraine where he has advised on a series of the largest facilities made available to Ukrainian borrowers), the Middle East (in particular the Emirates), Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
